5 out of 5! I'm a foodie! Eat out everyday as I'm on the road daily! First off, they have a variety of house made authentic salsa bar! I ordered a chicken tostada salad and a shrimp salad on a shell. Deliciously flavored shrimp, house made dressings. I will definitely be coming back to try other items on the menu. Nice hole in the wall for sure!!

Very small humble place you can almost miss on Venice Blvd. But don't miss it. This is the best Mexican Seafood restaurant on Westside. They have an array of seafood tacos, lobster, mahi mahi, cod, ahi, tiger shrimp, along with the standards all below $6 except the lobster. I had the cod and it was tempuraed, and flaky, sooo yummy. I also had the shrimp cocktail. It was in a delicious Bloody Mary type sauce. There were probably 20 shrimp, maybe Colossal 16/20 size for $11. My husband had the 7 lares seafood soup, in a big bowl. 7 types of fish, clams mussels, octopus, squid, salmon and shrimp. That was $14. We had a quesadilla and they have a salsa bar with 8 salsas. They also have blueberry lemonade and smoothies, and a pineapple green drink, which were good. No alcohol.Parking in Venice or surrounding streets. This dinner would've cost $100 anywhere else. What a sleeper.

Excellent neighborhood spot. It's right on Pico and so visible, so I don't understand why it's not packed every time I'm here. Fresh juices, plus really excellent food, for breakfast or lunch... plenty of parking, too. RJM is great, and sitting on the patio on a warm day feels just right.

It looks like a small family business so the food did take a while with the other customers who got there at the same time so we didn't mind. And it was worth waiting because the food looked and was delicious ! First time ever there and will be going back !

I would recommend this hidden gem local spot to anyone! I used to live in the neighborhood and I would go to RJM every week. All the food has really large portions, healthy ingredients, affordable, and everything feels home-made and fresh. I especially love their Honey Chipotle salsa, I can't find another other Mexican places that have it! I love their drinks too, especially the blueberry lemonade and green juice. Service is also so kind and super quick. Support local establishments!

Food and service was 10 out of 10! I will definitely be coming back here. The Green Goddess juice I ordered was fresh and refreshing. And the tacosss-- they were huge and delicious!

OMG YES please! We had the chipotle chicken breakfast quesadilla, just WOW. The salsa selection is outstanding. The tuna taco was super meaty, not my most favorite tuna but still good I think I prefer raw to seared. The lack of parking in the area is hard but doable. We will def return to try the $6 breakfast burrito! I am not letting any of these outstanding salsas go to waste either, one of them is unique and sweet. They have so many options including ahi and lobster, pasta, salads, breakfast, tacos, burritos etc. I tried calling and got the answering machine but we went anyways, glad we did! Closed on weekends. GO!

It can be so difficult to find a vegetarian burrito that is not a) just bean and cheese, or b) tastes like it was made by a white buddhist with a manbun. For that reason, I'm very glad to have found this corner cafe. The veggie burrito was a monster, and yet not such heavy eating as to put me in a coma after. Full of good, healthy stuff, but still tasted like a burrito you'd crave. The service was more than friendly. They gladly made my burrito with a flour tortilla instead of the usual whole wheat. Also, why were the tortilla chips so good? Ten bucks well spent. I'll return.

I came here because a friend of mine recommended it. She loved it so I brought my family here for a Valentine's Day lunch yesterday. I am SO glad too because this is easily our new favorite restaurant and I already have plans to bring my best friend and my mom here. I'm telling everyone. I was greeted by one of the cooks I believe. She was super nice and got us seated. We ordered and she brought us out chips, we helped ourselves to the salsa bar. I was hungry and ordered a lot but everything was SO good and so fresh. Handmade tortillas on the tacos, refills on the home made horchata. and my shrimp cocktail was DELICIOUS! The star of the show easily. Really fresh, large shrimp. Lots of avocados and cucumbers and onions and not watery but almost creamy. It was hands down my favorite. My kids gobbled up their quesadillas! They were large! Next time I'll order just one so they can split it. We took home leftovers and as we were leaving the young girl that was helping us handed us a box of chocolate covered strawberries. Such a nice sweet touch. ALSO our meal was so affordable. Friendly staff and it seems to be family owned. I will be back. Really really REALLY good.
